adaptations of elephants :-

elephants are adapted to live in dense forest.their tusks are straight as curved once might get caught in the branches and winds of the forest. they posses large ears which they flap to create a cooling effect. an elephant uses its trunk to drink water, pick up food and communicate with others of its species by making low pitched sounds.

adaptations of polar bear :-

1) it has two thick layers of fur to keep it warm on land.

2) it has long hairs between the pads on its feet. this helps to keep it warm and to walk on the ice.

3) thick layer of fat is found under its skin that keep warm while swimming in icy cold water.

4) the white colour of fur can you camouflages it against the snow. it it is thus able to sneak up close to the sales and hunt them.
