The problems faced by Indian agriculture are as follows-
1.) Lack of mechanisation-
In India, there is ample amount of skilled labor available. But due to lack of knowledge regarding machines and modern implements/tools the progress in agri-sector is hampered. The farmers living in rural areas have hardly any idea about the advanced machines used for ploughing, sowing, irrigation etc. Due to this the production of food crops is delayed thus having a direct effect on the economy of the sector.
2.) Agricultural promotions and marketing-
Farmers from remote areas produce good crops of excellent quality however they are unable to advertise their food/ware in urban regions. This is because they do not know the techniques required to promote the product. Only when the packaging, promotion, money organisation is done in an attractive or innovative way the product can be sold at a handsome price.
