Plants respond to sunlight called phototropism where roots move away and shoots move towards.
They respond to gravity-geotropism, opposite as above.
They also respond to chemicals in the environment like that of pollen grains on stigma

Answer: The Gulmohar plant droops or closes as the light fails in the evening. And the Morning Glory opens when there is strong light. These are two stimuli that plants respond to. For more info check out this image I attached.
