Working a regular job (Labour) is typically selling your time for money. I can work 8 hours at a job, and make the same wage regardless of how much or how little I work those hours. The extreme is you can get a raise, or get fired, but mostly you’ll just sit with the same wage until one of those two things happen.
When it comes to entrepreneurship, if you don’t work hard, you may miss out on knocking down a crucial domino that will result in your building a successful company.
