1)judicial review : it means that judiciary has the right to check any law made by the parliament.. that it is correct on the basis of constitution or not...

Once appointed, a High Court Judge cannot be removed by the Executive. Even the parliament , that has the power, has not removed any such High Court Judge till date, since the procedure is cumbersome, and political in nature.
The executive has to follow the orders of the High Court. The only way, they can try to opt out, is to get it stayed by the Supreme Court, that is also judiciary. The power of the high court to punish for its contempt is a tool that deters the executive from interference in the matters of the judges. If convicted for the contempt, the executive can be jailed.
The salary of the high court judges is charged on the consolidated fund of India, and hence the executive is not in a position to alter or reduce it.
The high court judges are very high in the order of precedence. In fact, they are just after the Governor and the Chief Minister.
