Let the Present age of Meera be x
and her twin brothers be y

• Meera is 10 years older than her twin brothers.

x = 10 + y .... ( i )

Meera age :- x + 3

Twin brothers age :- y + 6
( 3 added two times as the boys are twin )

# Thrice of Meera's age is equal to 4 times the sum of brothers age

3 ( x + 3 ) = 4 ( y + 6 )

3x + 9 = 4y + 24

3x - 4y + 9 - 24 = 0

3x - 4y - 15 = 0 .... ( ii )

Putting the value of x from ( i ) in ( ii )

3x - 4y - 15 = 0

3 ( 10 + y ) - 4y - 15 = 0

30 + 3y - 4y - 15 = 0

- y + 15 = 0

y = 15

Putting value of y in ( i )

x = 10 + y

x = 10 + 15

x = 25

So, the present age of Meera is ( x ) 25 years.
