what procedure does bassanio follow in asking a loan from antonio

Hey friend,
When bassanio asks Antonio for a loan, he simply says to forget about the previous loans he had taken but to give another loan to fulfill tha first ones. As he says that if one arrow is lost we can aim another on that particular side and can find both .
So he succeeds to make Antonio to give loan.
