Answer :

The formula of Mercury is (Hg).

The formula of Oxygen is (O2).

So, the formula of Mercuric oxide is (HgO).

Balanced Chemical Equation :

2HgO --------> 2Hg + O2

Here,

2 atoms of Mercury present in the reactant side and in the product side equal.

2 atoms of Mercury present in the reactant side and in the product side equal.2 atoms of Oxygen present in the reactant side and in the product side equal.
