In this poem Shakespeare eulogizes the divine quality of mercy. He writes that mercy cannot be forced out from a human heart; it gushes out of a heart full of love and falls as liberally as rain from heaven. He states that mercy is full of blessings; it blesses not only the giver, but the receiver also.Oct 12, 2017
