Meri and Sarin together had collected 550 foreign stamps. Satin had 40 stamps more than double the number of stamps Meri had. Find the number of stamps each one Collected. ​

Meri=x

Sarin=x+40×2=2x+40

x+2x+40=550

3x+40=550

3x=550-40

3x=510

X=170

X+40×2=380

380+170

=550
