As earth is a sphere its surface area is 360°. Now if we are going to draw meridians on a globe at a interval of 15 degrees then we have to divide the 360 with 15 to get the number of meridians can be drawn at that interval. The answer is 360/15 = 24.

Answer:

The meridian is the half of a great circle imagined on the surface of the earth. And the great imaginary circles which are parallel to the earth's equator and the poles of the earth are known as the parallels. At an interval of ten degrees,36 meridians and 18 parallels can be drawn on the surface of the earth.
