this is the tissue present at the tips of root and shoot. this helps in growth and development. these have thin cell wall. depending upon their location these could b apical, lateral and intercalary meristematic tissue.

meristematic tissue is present in plant plants only which help them in differentiation. it helps plant to grow horizontally as well as vertically. on the pasis of position this is divided into 4 cayegories
