Heya !!!

Meristematic tissues are found in plants ...

The cells are meristematic tissue are with dense protoplasm , thin cell wall and actively divide...

There are three types of meristem based on the position and function..

APICAL MERISTEM :
➡The meristem that is present at the tips of the roots and shoots is called apical meristem...

➡ They produce primary plant body..

INTERCALARY MERISTEM :
➡The meristem that occurs between mature tissues is called intercalary meristem...

➡They occur in grasses and regenerate parts removed by grazing of herbivores .

LATERAL MERISTEM:
➡The meristem that occurs in the mature regions of roots and shoots of many plants, particularly those that produce woody axis and appear later than primary meristem is called Lateral meristem...

➡These are responsible for producing secondary tissues..

Hope this helps you :)
