merit : A merit of parliamentary government is its flexibility and elasticity. People can easily change the government it is therefore , especially suitable to meet emergency.
demerit : A big disadvantage to this system can be unstable . Unlike a president, prime minister or chancellor is elected by the majority party and can be removed at any time if the majority party loses confidence in that person as leader.
