the merits in using mirrors in the elevation are
1 we will not receive much sunlight because most of the sunlight is reflected back .
2 the building looks more dignity and more attractive.
the demerits are
1 the surroundings feel more light and also more heat due to reflected light
2 the people who sees the reflection of light may cause some eye affect.
