Merits of mid day meal in school

The mid - day meal helps the children as -

- More children begin to attend the classes so that they can get to eat food.

- During the break, sometimes the children went to home to eat and didn't come back to school. But now, as the mid - day meal program has started, their attendance has improved.

- This scheme removes differences between different castes and people of middle class and lower class as everybody sit together to eat.
