Persy Byshe shelley ,the poet of Ozymandias, gives us the message that our good deeds will  be remembered by the future generations.a person[a king or a citizen] will be known by his deeds during his lifetime.

Ozymandias was a cruel and rude king who fed on the heart and sufferings of the people and insulted and mocked them.He built his statue [monument] to be remembered by the futre generations and to make the emperors feel jealous. But, there are only two huge and trunkless legs of stone standing erect on the desertb and a half sunk broken face. The facial expressions of ozymandias[scorn and hostility] are well sculpted by the sculptor.Nothing else remains.Everything that he built got reduced into sand and dust.

One of the aspects is short life span of power and glory of a human being and another aspect is the sheer vastness of the mother nature. The poem conveys an message that everything in this world is time-bound and not immortal. Even the mighty and the powerful cannot escape from ravages by time.

nikhilkumar61: is it right??
