"Metabolism is a defining property in living organisms without any exception" is said so in the NCERT material. But, a fertilzed egg is a living organism and it doen't undergo metabolism. Explain...

Metabolism is ntng but anabolism n catabolsm and so hence fertules egg undergo these 2 steps..... Na so its crct
