when. the metal react with carbonate it release carbon dioxide corresponding salt and water.




for example :-


CaCO3 + HCL ===> CaCl2 + Co2 + H20 .


here in this example :-

▶ there is production of corresponding salt that is calcium chloride.


▶ production of carbon dioxide.


▶ production of water.
