METAL+WATER=METALOXIDE+HYDROGEN
and

METAL+ACID=SALT+HYDROGEN

(i) is this reactions are similar or not?
(ii)if yes or no why?
(iii)is water react like acid in this reaction or not.why?​

Answer:

METAL+WATER=METAL OXIDE+HYDROGEN and METAL+ACID=SALT+HYDROGEN are not similar as one they form different products and water does not react like acid.  

Explanation:

For e.g-: Na + O2 gives Na2O + H2 where as

Na + HCl gives NaCl + H2
