SODIUM because it is an highly reactive metal if it comes with the contact of oxygen then it will start burning that's why it is kept immersed in kerosene.

Sodium is kept immersed in kerosene oil to prevent its reaction with oxygen , moisture and carbon dioxide of air to prevent accidental fires .
