Metallic spheres of radius 6 cm., 8 cm. and 10 cm. respectively are melted to form a
single solid sphere. Find the radius of the resulting sphere.​

vols. of spheres

radius 6=4/3πx6^3=864π/3

radius 8 = 4/3πx8^3=2048π/3

radius 10 = 4/3πx10^3=4oooπ/3

Total vol=6912π/3

Vol. of single solid sphere = 4/3πr 3

4/3πr 3 = 6912π/3

r3=6912πx3/4πx3=1728

r =3 v1728=3v2^3x2^3x3^3=2x2x3

= 12

Radius of resulting sphere = 12cm
