NON-METALS :-

silicon is a solid, bromine is a liquid and oxygen is a gas.

NON-METALS:-

1) non-metals form covalent bonds.

2) non-metals dissolve in water to form acidic solutions.

eg:- SO₂ + H₂O → H₂SO₃
