Metals are good conductors of electricity because electrons are free to move in a network in a network of metal atom . So because of Sea of electrons , these electrons jst not belong to one atom bt move freely in the metal's network ...which make them great conductors of electricity........also because they contain orbitals which are separated by small energy diffrences , metal can absorb wide range of light frequencies too..
