Answer: yes whenever any metal react with acid they give salt and hydrogen gas but when any metal react with concentrated HNO3 then it give water and not hydrogen gas because HNO3 is highly oxidising agent and it oxidise hydrogen gas to water and itself converts into some oxides of nitrogen.
Magnesium and manganese are the two metals that react with HNO3 to give hydrogen gas.
