Meterotes falls on Earth but not on moon. why?

No we'll not be able to hear the sound of the meteor crashing on the moon as since sound needs a medium to travel and space is vacuum. Therefore, we'll not be able to hear the sound from here (the earth). If a meteor falls on the moon, we cannot hear it fall as there is no air.
