Methane burns in Oxygen to form carbon dioxide and water vapor as given by the below

equation.

CH4(g) + 2O2(g) CO2(g) + 2H2O(g)

Calculate:

a. The volume of oxygen needed to burn completely 50cm3 of methane

b. The volume of carbon dioxide formed in this case.​
