the methods for sowing in soil are as follows:-
1- preparation of soil-
The soil is prepared for sowing the seeds of the crop by
-ploughing
-levelling
-manuring
2- sowing-
the process of putting deeds in the ground soil for growing the crop plants is called sowing.
3- adding manures and fertilisers-
repeated growing of crops in the same field removes a lot of precious mineral elements, organic matter and other materials from the soil.
4- irrigation-
the process of supplying water to crop plants in the fields is called irrigation.
5- removal of weeds-
the unwanted plants which grow along with a cultivated crop is called weeds which is removed by weedicides.
6- harvesting-
the cutting and gathering of the matured crop is called harvesting.
7- storage of food grains -
the food grains like wheat obtained by harvesting the crops are dried in the sunshine before storing to reduce their moisture.
