Hui don't worry
Mansi tambi is here
SUBLIMATION. It is because iodine is a sublime substance that is, it is converted directly into vapours when it is heated without going into the liquid state. ... Therefore when the mixture is heated iodine will sublime and sandwill be left behind separating the both.
Hope you understand

hey..

here the ans is..____

through Sublimation, iodine and sand would be separated..
becaz, iodine is a sublime substance i.e, it is converted directly into vapours when it is heated without going into the liquid state..whereas sand is non-sublime.so, when the mixture is heated ..iodine will get vapoured and the sand will be left out in the beaker or in which the mixture is kept in.

hope my ans helps u dear
