It can be solved by the formula:
x =   \frac{ - b +  \sqrt{b {}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}
And
x =  \frac{ - b -  \sqrt{b ^{2}  - 4ac} }{2a}

Heya,

Roots of a quadratic polynomial equation can be solved by quadratic formula i.e.

x = -b ± ✓(b)² - 4ac/2a

There are two more methods by which we can solve roots of quadratic equation and they are:
(1) Factorisation method
(2) Completing square root method.
