  • Division Pteridophyta: These are the oldest vascular plants. The tissues help in the conduction of water and other substances. For example, Ferns.
  • Division Phanerogamae : These are seed bearing plants. These have well differentiated reproductive tissues. These also have a well developed vascular system.
  • Gymnosperms : The gymnosperms are the plants that have naked seeds.They have well developed vascular tissues but they do not have vessels.The reproductive organs are cones.
