Hello friend,

If it's in a polar region like Antartica, we should try not to go there because we leave carbon dioxide which makes the place hotter, we should not pollute the air near that place (even if it is a mile far!).

Hope this helps!

It is nearly evident that a massive global meltdown is awaiting the planet owing to the ever-increasing global warming and ozone layer depletion. The icebergs and glaciers are melting at an alarming rate. Scientists are working day and night to prevent this. Few methods are:---

1. Reforestation and afforestation

2. Maintaining the natural ecosystem and habitat.

3. Geo-engineering methods

4. Restraining the greenhouse pollution.

5. Awareness about the entire situation

6. Conservation of natural resources

7. Installing barriers to prevent warming ocean waters

8. Growing of more polar ice caps and protecting polar ice

9. Avoiding usage of permafrost thaw that increases the temperature

For eg. Swiss ski resorts are already trying to cover the retreating glaciers with a cloak of thin, reflective foil to obstruct off meltdown. Similarly, residents in Peru have used sawdust or whitewash for a similar kind of result.
