SOLUTION :

The cost of the cycle (C.P) = Rs 1000    (given)

The loss% = 20% in S.P    (given)

To be found :-

Selling Price (S.P)

We know that,

⇒ $\bf S.P = C.P \times \frac{(100-loss\%)}{100}$

⇒ $\bf S.P = 1000 \times \frac{(100-20)}{100}$

⇒ $\bf S.P = 800$

∴ Selling Price (S.P) is Rs 800
