=Electromagnetic or magnetic induction is the production of an electromotive force across an electrical conductor in a changing magnetic field. Michael Faraday is generally credited with the discovery of induction in 1831, and James Clerk Maxwell mathematically described it as Faraday's law of induction.✔✔

Answer:

Explanation:

Electromagnetic Induction refers to the formation of an induced Electro Motive Force, because of the change in the electromagnetic flux in the magnet linked with the circuit.

Michael Faraday's experiment,

He took a coil shaped circuit and connected it to a galvanometer. He took a bar magnet and linked it with the coil. Then he observed the induction of current as he moved the bar magnet towards and away from the coil and kept it in continuous motion. Then he observed the induction of current in the coil keeping the magnet stationary. He observed that when he moved the magnet then some current was induced in the circuit, but when he halted the motion, the induction stopped immediately.

This is it.

Hope it helped you.
