 \purple{ \mathfrak{ \large{ Solution}}}

  • Time taken by Michal in coloring = 7/12 hours.

  • Time taken by Vaibhav in coloring = 3/4 hours.

The LCM of 12 and 4 is 12. So making the denominator of both fraction equal to 12, we get,

=> 7/12 and 3/4 × 3/3

=> 7/12 and 9/12

As

9/12 > 7/12

For calculating by how much, we do Subtraction

9/12 - 7/12 = 9-7/12 = 2/12 = 1/6

Vaibhav worked longer by the fraction 1/6.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!!!!
