Hey there !!

1st Case .

→ Michael missed 2 balls but hit 8 balls .

→ Then, total number of ball pitched to him = 8 + 2 = 10 balls.

Then, probability of hitting ball =  \bf\frac{number \: of \: balls \: hitted}{total \: number \: of \: balls \: pithched} .

=> p(E) = 8/10

•°• p(E) = 4/5 .

2nd Case .

→ Total number of Balls pitched to Michael = 20 .

→ Number of balls hitted = Let x.

Then, probability of hitting balls =  \bf\frac{number \: of \: balls \: hitted}{total \: number \: of \: balls \: pithched} . .

=> 4/5 = x/20.

=> 5x = 4 × 20 .

=> 5x = 80.

=> x = 80/5 .

•°• x =  \boxed{ 16. }

✔✔ Hence, it is solved ✅✅.

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

Answer :- 16 balls

Let see how 16 came :-)

In his practice of 10 balls micheal hits 8 balls and leave 2.

So if 20 balls

➡️ 2 +8 = 10

Multiply both sides by 2

2 × 2 + 8×2 = 10 × 2

4 + 16 = 20

So therefore 16 balls he hits out of 20 balls.
