Microbes will never grow on food which we keep inside refrigerators? Do you agree why?

Microbes will never grow in the food kept in a refrigerator because cold temperature is unfavourable for the microbes to act. so their action will be slow or unreactive. No I don't agree. Some microbes which are capable of living in cold climatic conditions can still grow on the food inside refrigerator.
