microorganisms are very useful to us . some microorganisms like earthworm make the soil fertile . and some are harmful because they cause many diseases in the plant . Earthworm mix soil layers and incorporate organic matter into the soil. They bring up the nutrients from deep in the soil

• the microorganisms such as lactobacillus and acidophilus is present in milk .
• yeast is used to make bakery products such as bread, cake etc by the process of fermentation.
• xanthomonas is used to make toothpastes which help in giving gritty texture to it.
• rhybosomes present in the root nodules of plants such as pea plant helps in nitrogen fixation.

• microorganisms such as bacteria cause disease like common cold.
• they spoil fruits and vegetables by changing their colour and making them harmful for health.
• they spoil food by making them poisonous .such as fungi,bacteria etc.
• microorganisms such as virus and fungi causes danger disease to living one.
