Answer :

Yes, It's true that some of the micro-organisms (Pathogens)cause disease. But on other hand they also helps us in many ways like :

◆ Sewage Treatment

◆ Decomposition

◆ Curd & cheese formation

◆ Fermentation Process in Bakery

◆ Alcoholic Beverages

◆ Helps in digestion and absorption of food in some animals.

◆ Used in production of Antibiotics

◆ Treatment of Various microbial infections

◆ Agriculture Process

◆ Energy/Fuel Production

◆ Cleaning the Environment

So wiping away all the micro-organisms would have an adverse effect on our lives.

Answer:-

  • Micro organisms cause diseases. No, we should not try to wipe out all the organisms because they can also help us in various activities.
  • Some micro organisms (pathogens i.e. disease causing micro organisms) may create hurdle but all don't do the same.
  • If we want to wipe out all the organisms, Lactobacillus which helps in converting mil to curd will be also not found and hence, milk will not be converted into curd anymore.
  • Some micro organisms, like Yeast, helps us in bakeries by making the cake dough making soft. They are also used in preparation of alcoholic beverages and acetic acid (vinegar).
  • Such micro organisms also help in decomposition of dead bodies and sewage treatment too.
  • If we killed the micro organisms, the process of decomposition will stop and soon the earth would be a heap of dead bodies.
  • Hence, if we wiped them out, we can't get such good facilities.
