Windows Server is basically a name for various server groups included in the operating systems.

These software groups are developed by the Microsoft.

This Server is released under the  Long term servicing channel.

This is under Microsoft for 10  years.

The answer to this question is the third option, and it is a windows server.  

Both Hottonworks and Microsoft joined hands with their workforce so that Hadoop is available on the windows server for on-premises deployments.  

The beta version is at present available for download, and very soon the general version will come in the market.  

Win 32 is used for the development platform.
