Migration of birds is a reversible change. It is because the results of this change can be altered or reversed back.

There's a term called reverse migration that defines the pattern of birds flying in the opposite direction of their migration to reach their original habitat.

During the particular season, birds migrate to a different place in search of a suitable climate for their survival. Again after the period is over, they migrate back to their original habitat. This behaviour is said to be acquired from the parental generation in some cases whereas in others this is genetically programmed.
