Given:

Mika can eat 21 hot dogs in 6 minutes.

To find:

How many minutes it would take her to eat 35 hot dogs if she can keep up the same pace.

Solution:

Mika can eat 21 hot dogs in → 6 minutes

We will first find the time needed by Mika to eat 1 hot dog i.e.,

Mika can eat 1 hot dog in → \frac{6 }{21 } \:minutes = \frac{2}{7}  \:minutes

Now, if she keeps the same pace then,

To eat 35 hot dogs, Mika would take,

= \frac{2}{7} \times 35

= 2 \times 5

= \bold{10 \:minutes }

Thus, Mika would take 10 minutes to eat 35 hot dogs if she keeps up the same pace.
