Given:-

  • Height of the conical plastic cup = 7 inches

  • Radius of the conical plastic cup = 3 inches

To Find:-

  • Volume of the Water in the Plastic cone cup.

Formula Used:-

  • {\boxed{\bf{Volume\:of\: Cone= \dfrac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h}}}

Solution:-

Using Formula,

\tt :\implies\:Volume\:of\: Cone= \dfrac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h

Here,

  • r = 3 Inches

  • h = 7 Inches

Putting values,

\tt :\implies\:Volume\:of\: Water= \dfrac{1}{3}\times \dfrac{22}{7}\times 3^2 \times 7

\tt :\implies\:Volume\:of\: Water= \dfrac{1}{3}\times 22\times 9

\tt :\implies\:Volume\:of\: Water= 22\times 3

\tt :\implies\:Volume\:of\: Water= 66\:inches^3

Hence, The Volume of Water in the Cup is 66 inches³.

More Formula for Cone:-

  • \tt Total\: Surface\: Area= \pi r(l+r)

  • \tt Curved\: Surface\: Area= \pi rl

  • \tt Slant\: Height= \sqrt{r^2+h^2}
