Statement B (The leopard is more closely related to the tiger than to the clouded leopard.) is not true.

Though  leopard and tiger both are belonged to Panthera genus and clouded leopard belongs to Neophilis genus, Both of these leopards have similarity by looks and both of these can climb on the trees while the tiger looks different from the leopards and cannot climb trees.
