Pasteurization is the process of heat processing a liquid or food to increase the shelf life of food and make it safe for eating. This process helps reduce the transmission of of disease such as polio, dysentery, fever, etc

It removes the pathogenicity. There are some points that is to be remembered that pasteurized food should be kept  refrigerated and if not it could be contaminated

Therefore it is important to keep the pasteurized food clean and dust free.
