Milk and water is mined in the ratio 4:3 to make 42 litter. How much more milk is to be added to make the ratio 2:1

4x+3x=42

7x=42

x=6

then 4(6)= milk =24 litre

3(6)=water= 18

so if we want to make the ratio of 2:1 then milk have to become double than water.

so water is 18 then milk have to 36

36-24=12

12 litre milk required to make the ratio of 2:1
