Answer:

Sol (Solid in liquid type colloid)

Explanation:

NCERT textbook says that milk of magnesia [chemically Mg(OH)₂]  is an example for colloid. It is a solid-in-liquid type colloid, which makes it under the category Sol.

BUT, there are a few reference texts which says milk of magnesia is a SUSPENSION. The reason they say is the size of the molecules are in the range of suspension, which are larger than the colloidal particles.

So, there is a bit controversy in this topic. But, as long as NCERT says it is a colloid, it is a colloid. So,if asked in any exam, your answer should be COLLOID.

I hope this helps :)
