Let us understand what echo is. An echo is a loud sound reflection that arrives late and so is heard as a separate sound source. For example, echoes can sometimes be heard in large concert halls.
Many people think the duck's quack having no echo is true. This is a myth. The truth is that a duck's quack does echo however, it may be difficult to hear. A duck quacks quietly, so the sound coming back is at a low level and might not be heard. Ducks don't quack near reflecting surfaces. You need a large reflecting surface, a mountain or building for the sound to reflect off. Also, ducks don't hang around reflecting surfaces. Ducks normally are found in open-water areas and so echos usually aren't heard. Moreover, It is hard to hear the echo of a sound which fades in and fades out because a quack is a fading sound.
So that's the wrong statement 'A duck's quack doesn't echo anywhere'
Hope this Helps!

Echo is the returning back of sound towards the source after the sound strikes a obstacle in its path of propagation.
➡️ Ducks quack doesn't echo anywhere. It's a fact, but its not absolutely correct.
➡️ Echo have several factors affecting it. Distance is one of them.
➡️ Sound travels in form of waves. Each of these waves have specific wavelength (distance between two adjacent same phase). If the distance between the source of sound and reflector is exactly on one of the nodes of the wave, the sound will not reflect back at all. And therefore, no echo can be heard.
That's it..
