As per the question, 6 elephants were seen by a tiger, going towards the pond.

Each of the elephants were carrying 2 monkeys on their back.

So, total number of monkeys = 6 x 2 = 12.

Each monkey was carrying a parrot in their hand. So, there were 12 parrots.

We have been asked how many animals were seen moving towards the pond.

The answer is = (6+12) = 18 nos. of animals as parrots are birds.
