Mineral acids are used in laboratory but carboxylic acid like vinegar is used as a preservative in pickles .

( i ) Illustrate vinegar as a week acid and a hydrochloric acid as a strong acid with the help of ionisation equation .

( ii ) Compare vinegar with glacial acetic acid .

vinegar is a weak acid because when dissolved in water it partially disassociate to form H+ ions. where as hydrochloric acid completely disassociate to form H+ions

ii: In winter when temp. goes below room temp. aceatic acid starts freezing &so called galcia acietic acid
